Operation Christmas Child

Now Accepting  Donations through NOV 15th.

The Children’s Choir will be packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child on Sunday, November 15 th , at their  regular rehearsal time: 5:30 PM. We took on this ministry 8 years ago, when we first packed 8 boxes. Last year, in  2025, with your help, we packed 208!

You can drop off donations in the baskets that will be stationed at the display table in the narthex. Suggested items  for donations include: small toys and crafts, school supplies, self care items such as combs and toothbrushes, socks,  sunglasses, flashlights, and simple jewelry. Do NOT include: bar soap, candy, toothpaste, gum, used items, war  items, food, liquids, lotions, medicine, vitamins, aerosol cans, or breakable items.

If you would like to pack a shoebox and have Riverside Church deliver it to the drop off site for you, then you may  take a box from the display table in the narthex. (You can also use your own cardboard or plastic shoebox if you  prefer). Be sure to return the box with an envelope inside which contains the $10.00 processing fee (either cash or a check, made out to Riverside Church).  

All boxes and / or donations must be received by November 15th.

For some children, this may be the ONLY gift they receive this Christmas…
